What is a web ring?
A web ring is a network of sites that contain similar types of content. The LA Music Scene web ring contains content relating to the artists, clubs and bands in and around the greater Los Angeles area. Each web site is networked together by linking one site to the next until they form a circle that can be traveled using the ring navigation.
Why a web ring?
A web ring provides traffic to the sites through our home page and through people accessing the pages on the ring. A web ring is a win/win situation for all involved. The web ring promotes itself as the members of the web ring promote themselves.
Using the web ring!
Navigating the web ring is simple! Each member page of the web ring includes a navigation bar of some kind. The web ring navigation allows a user to move through the web ring in either direction, go to the next or previous site, or list the next five sites in the ring. If you're feeling a little free spirited you can even let the web ring pick your next site randomly. In our opinion this is the best way to experience the LA music scene; you never know what you're going to get. The navigation also has a link back to the home page, so if you ever get lost you can go right back to the source.

Problems using the web ring?
If you've experienced any problems traveling the web ring, please let us know. The most common problems might be broken links that don't allow you to continue to the next site. If you encounter this problem or any others please email us at webringfix@thelamusicscene.com. When emailing us, please provide us information on the last site you were on when you encountered the problem. Thanks for all your support!
Inappropriate web sites on the web ring:
If you feel that a web site that we've admitted to the web ring is inappropriate, please email us the web site address and the reason you feel it is inappropriate. We want the web ring to be a positive experience for everyone involved.
